A convergent version of Watson's lemma for double integrals

نویسندگان

چکیده

A modification of Watson's lemma for Laplace transforms ∫0∞f(t)e−ztdt was introduced in [Nielsen, 1906], deriving a new asymptotic expansion large |z| with the extra property being convergent as well. Inspired that idea, this paper we derive expansions two-dimensional F(x,y):=∫0∞∫0∞f(t,s)e−xt−ysdtds |x| and |y| are also convergent. The F(x,y) accompanied by error bounds. Asymptotic some special functions given illustration.

a cauchy-schwarz type inequality for fuzzy integrals

Nonabsolutely convergent Poisson integrals

If a function f has finite Henstock integral on the boundary of the unit disk of R 2 then its Poisson integral exists for |z| < 1 and is o((1 − |z|) −1) as |z| → 1 −. It is shown that this is the best possible uniform pointwise estimate. For an L 1 measure the best estimate is O((1 − |z|) −1). In this paper we consider estimates of Poisson integrals on the unit circle with respect to Alexiewicz...

Fuzzy Linear Programming and its Application for a Constructive Proof of a Fuzzy Version of Farkas Lemma

The main aim of this paper is to deal with a fuzzy version of Farkas lemma involving trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. In turns to that the fuzzy linear programming and duality theory on these problems can be used to provide a constructive proof for Farkas lemma. Keywords Farkas Lemma, Fuzzy Linear Programming, Duality, Ranking Functions.

A Constrained version of Sauer’s Lemma

Sauer’s Lemma is extended to classes H of binary-valued functions on [n] = {1, . . . , n} which have a margin less than or equal to N on x ∈ [n], where the margin μh(x) of a binary valued function h at a point x ∈ [n] is defined as the largest nonnegative integer a such that h is constant on the interval Ia(x) = [x−a, x+a] ⊆ [n]. Estimates are obtained for the cardinality of classes of binary v...

Double Integrals and Iterated Integrals

Corresponding material in the book: Section 15.2, 15.3. Note: We are omitting the question types from the book that require three-dimensional visualization, i.e., those that require sketching figures in three dimensions to compute volumes. What students should definitely get: The procedure for computing double integrals over rectangles using iterated integrals, the procedure for computing doubl...
